About Palermo’s Auto Collision & Detailing Experts in Rochester, NY
About Our Company
Palermo’s Auto is a locally owned collision repair, ceramic coating, rust proofing, and detailing shop on Scottsville Road in Rochester, NY. We’ve served the community for decades, and under current ownership since 2024 we continue that tradition with a strong focus on quality work and clear communication.
How We Started
Palermo’s Auto began in a small one-car garage as a side hustle by a dedicated automotive painter. What started as a passion project grew into a trusted name for collision repair and auto detailing in the Rochester area.
In 2024, William Melnikov took over the business. He brought nearly 10 years of hands-on experience as an auto body technician and a clear goal: keep the solid foundation that was already here, while raising the standard on communication, quality, and customer care.
William Melnikov
Owner/Operator
Hi, I’m William Melnikov, owner of Palermo’s Auto.
I spent almost a decade working as an auto body technician at a larger corporate shop. I learned a lot there, but I always wanted to run a shop the way I believe it should be run — with honest estimates, direct communication, and real attention to every vehicle.
When I took over Palermo’s Auto, I wanted to honor the work Dan had already put in while bringing my own focus on rust proofing, ceramic coating, and detailing. My goal is simple: every customer should feel confident their car is in good hands and know exactly what’s happening with their repair.
